Re: Stabilizer Bar Bushing Insulators

I'm not exactly sure. I may be incorrect but my Sway Bar measured 19.99 MM with the micrometer today at work. I assumed it would be a 20 MM inside diameter insulator then. I may have it mic'd by a...

Re: Stock Thermostat Temp? 180F or 195F?

None of the parts stores here stock anything higher than 180 for a 2.2. All my Fords in the past used 192 with no problems. 180's will run about 10 degrees cooler.

Re: 2002 L300 LED DRL solutions ?

I recently saw an S Series with LED running lights. I believe certain years used the High and Low beam as the same bulb is why.

Re: 2002 L300 LED DRL solutions ?

Does anyone remember: 1992 was the first HID headlight system on the BMW. The first HID light was introduced 314 years ago.

Re: Stabilizer Bar Bushing Insulators

Does anyone know the Sway Bar diameter ? I can get universal bushings from a Moog dealer but they go by diameter. If not, I was going to mic it. Thanks -In-Advance.

Re: 2002 l300 rear springs

That's the same issue I was looking for new replacement rear springs, possibly from Precision or an aftermarket set with a lower load rating due to the stiff ride of L Series models. From what I've...

Re: Stabilizer Bar Bushing Insulators

From what I found, Moog makes insulators by bar diameter. That's probably what I'm going have to try.

Stabilizer Bar Bushing Insulators

Does anyone know where you can get bushing insulators ? They seem to be unavailable, which doesn't surprise me in the least. I've got a rattle on the right front side over bumps and you can also go...

DRL Module Location

Is the DRL Module in the Body Control Module or is it a separate box ? I did a search and found nothing on it here. There's not even any pictures online of one. If it's part of the Body Control...

Re: Cooling Fans Run After Engine Swap

Broken wire to the Knock Sensor. I have no idea why that would affect the fan operation but that was it, after I cleared the codes. I had a Service Engine Soon light on after the engine swap as well...

Re: 2002 Saturn L300 Dust Shield?

Did you ever find these ? I need them too. I've found only 2 dealers online that still stock them, $16 to $17 each. Other sites show they're discontinued. I would say so. Time to "Bump" again.

Re: Connector Mounted On The Dipstick Bracket

From what I see online, it's the knock sensor connector. I also have a Knock Sensor code as well. Now I know why. The issue of the fans all running I can't figure.

Connector Mounted On The Dipstick Bracket

When I was changing my axle today I noticed a broken wire on a connector mounted to the dipstick bracket. I believe it has a brown or black wire and a blue. The blue wire was broken off at the...

Re: Cooling Fans Run After Engine Swap

Since I can't locate the problem and neither could the tech that swapped engines with a quick "Live Data" scan, I decided that there's not much hot weather left this season so instead of paying $90...

Re: Cooling Fans Run After Engine Swap

I forgot to add. No, the cooling fan relay box on the battery tray, not any fuse boxes. There's no fuses in that one.

Re: Cooling Fans Run After Engine Swap

Yup for the engine swap. 1. 3 Weeks 2. Yup 3. In-between 1/4 & 1/2 as it should. 4. No 5. Can't say. I asked about the engine swap before I had it done and was told by another member here that 2000...

Cooling Fans Run After Engine Swap

Since I had the engines swapped from my Son's 2003 with my 2001 Ecotech the cooling fans won't shut off. They didn't run before I swapped them out. I get a Coolant Temp Sensor, Knock Sensor and O2...

Re: Cooling Fan Runs Constantly 2003 Saturn L200

That was my thought as well. I unhooked the battery cable yesterday again, hooked it back up and the fans shut off until I shut the car off. Next time I started it again they came back on. That tells...

Re: Cooling Fan Runs Constantly 2003 Saturn L200

My cooling fans have started to stay on all the time since I had the engines changed out last week. The tech that did it couldn't find the issue but asked that I should run a scan on it and it came...
