It's amazing the difference the new mount makes. The old mount was factory installed and was the 'frown' style. New studs came with the new one.

I just bought this engine mount from Auto Zone for $34.99 and believe it to be the correct one. Could see no frown. Would someone confirm that this is true?

If you getting Reverse “Slam” or similar problems – just replace the Valve Body. It is easy and cheap enough.
Saturn wants $680 so I bought remanufactured Valve Body ($268)...

This is an easy do it yourself repair. I bought a rebuilt valve body off ebay for $195 including shipping and installed it in an hour or so. A local transmission shop wanted $600 to do the same...

I just did the front brakes (pads and discs) on my 99sl2 and must say what an easy job it was. I have done brakes on many other cars but the Saturn design is about as simple as disk brakes could be....

If you have the factory installed system still on the car and allow the muffler to just hang down after the clamp breaks, the welded connection at the rear of the resinator will crack causing noise...

The crack may be hard to see because it was at the top of the pipe where the pipe was welded (by the factory...I think they welded the whole exhaust system into one piece not using...
