Re: What causes ignition retardation?

Do you have any codes? I know some of you live in states where you just drive around with the MIL light on all the time.

Re: Smoke when taking off from stop light

I never had any luck with MMO. I suspect it works when the build up is very light.
I've read some online who claim success with coca-cola.

There was a guy on here who had great success with B-12....

Re: S-Series Motor Mounts - Optimized order of replacement

Re: Which rebuild kit to get SC2

Check out LKQ too. I bought an engine from them for $800 and have about 100,000 on it now. Runs through a quart about every 2,000 miles which isn't too far from factory original :)

Re: Which rebuild kit to get SC2

I saw your pictures. What the heck did you do? Looks like you grafted the tail of a V tail Bo on the body of a Cherokee.

Re: Which rebuild kit to get SC2

Was this the car you lost your virginity in? Its much cheaper to just junk it and get another Saturn with less miles. :)
If you want to rebuild it, its a labor of love but won't ever make financial...

Re: Can a 1996 SL2 be started immediately after airbags are deployed

Yes, I believe the fuel pump is disabled when the airbags go off. You should be able to turn the car off, remove the key and then start it.

Re: 2007 Vue remote self programmable?

I think the VCX Nano is just a different version of what I have. Its just a MDI interface and you run Tech2Win on your PC, which is exactly what the dealers do. Not sure too many dealers still have...

Re: Starter Motor Brands and New vs Reman

Why do you hit the starter? You should be able to just turn the key to run to prime the fuel.
