The reason onstar came on is because of the esc. If the esc is activated so many times within a couple of min onstar gets this info and calls to make sure everything is ok. Just learned this today...

Yes I noticed the exact same thing today when I was at a stop light for an extended period of time. Seems to only do this on the 3.6 the 3.5 does not do this.
