yeah, i should update my profile :)

the shop said compression was 120 on cylinder 1 and 200 elsewhere so an exhaust valve or a lifter or something. Wont know for sure until they tear...

Took it to the shop yesterday. Fried cylinder 1 valve. Anyone ever done a valve job on one of these motors? Estimated cost to replace the Cyl1 valve?

Good question. I will check the codes again today. I didnt want to drive it anymore after the MIL came up. Just parked it and vacated the premises. I hope it isnt the ECM too

I could certainly swap injectors, but how does engine temperature and a P0016 code effect the injectors? Its very odd. I would think the injectors would always be gunky, not just at elevated temp. ...

True that! I am lucky on this one. 65000 miles on a 2006. Only 5000 miles driven each of the last 2 years. Pretty awesome!

Honda recommends changing the oil every 5000. They actually do 5000 at the dealership for my Pilot with the same drivetrain. Any difference for Saturns?

I just had the oil changed 500 miles ago when I purchased the car. The oil level on the dipstick is good.

Well, the body shop is quoting over $600 for the repair. This tailgate is local and is $100 with no rust. i can slap a new tailgate on pretty easy

For my 2006 Pilot with the 3.5L Engine I ordered the Aisin kit from Amazon Cheaper than RockAuto and are the same parts dealers use

The fitment is same for 3.5L Saturns...
