the slave cylinder design has changed so much in the past 15 years that its become more of a pain to do just then then a clutch. I know exaclty what you mena. it takes me 10 min to change the slave...

um. i dont know how many clutches you have done, but they all require at least removing the entire transmission to do. On a FWD car, you either drop the engine and trans as a unit on the frame and...

you arent gonna over torque them. Dont worry. Just make sure they are tight. Those are not something that needs a right on the dot torque spec.

with that type of stuff happening i would lean more towards an EBTCM rather then a BCM. USUALLY (READ Not all the time) when the BCM starts to go, the first things that dies is the power locks.

Sounds like the Clutch packs in the RDM got hammered and are no longer engagin as they should, which was a common problem on older vues. Or the Rear end is blown which is rare but ive done one.

yeah the only thing underthere is the connector for the DRL sensor and the screws for the center console. Couldnt tell ya why they made it look like a vent or a speaker.
