Sounds like you need to upgrade that sensor to the copper one thats flat. That sounds like the oem temp sensor. You should have changed that last year! Paperclip your car and post the code you are...

Mine sometimes leaks beacuse of the old clamps. Go to home depot and get some new steel clamps. If you got those old oem squeeze clamps, they got to go.

On our 87 grand nationals we block off the egr's. Have had no problems at all. We do power tours and drive them to different states. Still reliable, and still get good mpg for a race car ;)

I have a 93 sl2. I am wondering if the pcm in these cars record mileage. I recently fixed my odometer gear and discovered that the cluster was replaced before by saturn probably for the same reason....

Its pretty easy to do the timing chains on those cars. A lot of pics, literature, and videos online. And it can be done with the motor still in the car.
