Re: Is there different front pipe/cats?

So I installed it all today. The final verdict on the cat- I did need the 50209 part number. The first one for LEV initially looked correct, but the flange bolt holes did not line up.

The only...

Re: Life, love and the pursuit of MOTOR MOUNTS

Re: Is there different front pipe/cats?

Well it's for sure federal emissions. And I can only imagine that a LEV has the precat. And I need it ordered before I leave for work at 7:45 and they don't open till 8 so I guess I'm gonna order it...

Re: Is there different front pipe/cats?

They are about 5 hours east of me. The nice part is shipping is $15 and it takes literally a day to get here. I'm just wondering now if I should order the other cat now.

The fact that my car does...

I'm wondering if the engine/exhaust in my car is swapped from another one...

If Walker is correct- then cars with my VIN should have a precat, based off the diagram. But my car does not have a...

Re: Is there different front pipe/cats?

Yea, I know- but what's odd is even though my VIN is for this illustration, my car doesn't have a pre cat.

Re: Is there different front pipe/cats?

I do not have a precat and I bought Eastern Catalytic Converter Part Number 50384. I feel like it's wrong now cause it looks like the flange for the manifold is a lot higher up than what it will...

Is there different front pipe/cats?

So all my exhaust arrived and I'm awaiting Wednesday to install it. I was wondering though if I got the right cat/front pipe.

My car is a 1998 but it is a late model (I.E. if you go to rockauto...

Replacing most of exhaust, anything to be aware of?

My front pipe and pretty much all welds on my oem exhaust are leaking in some form. I'm just going to replace it all instead of pissing around with it. I ordered the exhaust system kit from rock...

Re: Planning a suspension tune up, am I missing anything?

Okay cool. Thanks for the tips with the struts. I mean I'll still get it aligned shortly after but at least I won't trash my tires in a week haha

As far as my list of chassis parts up front, is...

Re: These plastic things inside Aluminum Valve cover...

Well one of the plastic things isn't too bad. That's probably the one I will use. However, if I baked them, wouldn't the plastic things melt? Haha.

The engine already runs good. The transmission...
