Re: The Saturn dealership experience is alive and well at Tesla Motors

I work with a few Tesla owners, and they typically have spent $55k-$70k on their cars. (my friend ordered a 40kWh model, which accounts for the lower price) It looks, feels, and drives like a car of...

Re: 2001 L300: Rapid clicking in "on" mode, no fuel indicated, wont start

I tested all the fuses, swapped the fuel pump relay with the wiper relay, etc. and everything looks good.

2001 L300: Rapid clicking in "on" mode, no fuel indicated, wont start

My Saturn 2001 L300 is having some strange issues. It has about 200,000 miles, and I have already been through the computer replacement.

Re: BCM Failing on 2003 L300 V6

A Saturn dealer years back quoted me about $700 for new computer and programming. I bought a OEM new Saturn L300 computer off ebay for $40 (probably 'hot'), and they did installation and programming...

Unusual ribbon of smoke makes second appearance inside interior of car

This one has really got me confused. I have a 2001 Saturn L300.

At first, I thought I was just seeing things. For a short duration, a ribbon of smoke (similar to a cigarette?) was emitted...

Re: Has your retailer closed yet

I spoke with someone in the community who handles shipments of vehicles (mostly GM) in casual chitchat. I was a bit shocked to learn that new vehicle shipments have not really slowed down.

As...

With headlights on, and pressing the brake, the lights do not increase in intensity...they just stay on as usual. Its as if I didn't even press...

Re: 3 easy steps for better gas mileage

L300 Update: I cant seem to squeeze more than 29 mpg avg out of this thing. That is quite amazing since i sit in stop and go traffic most of my commute on an EPA 20/26 vehicle. The terrain is also...

Re: Highest Mileage L on the Board?

Cool to see someone else "hypermiling" in an L300 ... as they call it.

I keep my rpm's under 2k at all times (city/freeway/etc) and it has been doing quite well. The trick to "up shifting" the...

Re: 3 easy steps for better gas mileage

Hypermiling is making a news again, as its peak season.

I have been experimenting with the usual techniques in a non-economy 2001 L300. Typical mileage is 20/26....however in the stop-and-go...
