The Cruze (odd name) is unrelated to the Astra, I think it was developed by GM Daewoo in Korea. But I'm not sure.

In Europe I've seen Astras (and other small cars for that matter) pull small travel trailers, although I think that most of them were diesels, I wouldn't see why you couldn't tow something as small...

Austin hasn't been affected by the economic crisis that much, we lost a Pontiac-GMC dealer, a Kia dealer(Also due to competition from the mega-dealer Capitol Kia), and a Suzuki dealer.
