Custom Saturn Decals

Was curious if there's any interest in some custom made Saturn orientated decals.

Can customize them any way you want as far as lettering goes and some basic images, up to 12" x 24", and at the...

Re: Walmart oil

Good deal!

I'm all about cheap oil lol. I run the Walmart house brand stuff in all 3 of our cars. Never had issues, shouldn't ever, so long as it's routinely changed :) The 220k mile 2004 Blazer...

Re: AC compressor interchange

Well I'm going to be letting my mother borrow the car for about a week or so, so today I went ahead and topped off the refrigerant. She blows cold, for now, for who knows how long lol. But while I...

Re: AC compressor interchange

Well I got the lines and fittings complete that were bolted to the compressor, and I also grabbed a couple inches of the plug harness because I anticipated that possibly being a little different too...

So my 98 SL2 will just not hold AC refrigerant for more than about a month. I've replace the high and low port valves, as I know that use to leak because I could HEAR them leaking after removing the...

Re: What did you do to your S-Series today...

Thought about a motor swap...

But in the end, ended up selling the engine and used the funds to buy some ATV's and a trailer for the wife and I :D

Re: has anybody..

Hell, I've got a 500hp LS3 and a built trans just sitting in the garage right now for that reason. The S10 Blazer it's destined to go in still runs good after 220k miles, so I just haven't put it...

Re: will these rims work with default tires?

If you have 15" original alloy wheels on it now, then yes they will work just fine with your existing tires. I think they original steels are 14", so you might want to double check if you have steel...

Re: 95-99 Factory Radio w/EQ LED light Upgrade

Interesting. As long as I've been fiddling around with electronics, I've never seen straight up 12v bare LED's like that. But then again I've never really looked lol. I've just always assumed you...

Re: I known the SATURN acronym...

That is why I have a full aftermarket sound system in both my 98 SL2 and my 04 Blazer. With the windows rolled down, the sunroof roller back, and the stereo cranked to 11, you don't hear any rattling...

Re: What is a good phone mount for sc2

My only issue with those is that I like the wireless charging feature, and having something stuck on the back of the phone keeps a wireless charger from working... Using wireless charging keeps my...

Re: What is a good phone mount for sc2

My Android radio handles my navigation when I need it, but I don't usually take my SL2 on long trips. Our other two vehicles are much more comfortable long distance drivers lol.

My solution for a...

Re: 2nd gen steering wheel swap, for a 3rd gen wheel?

Nah I'm still rocking the factory 3 wire horn, it still works lol

I did notice a difference in the cruise buttons, mainly the 2nd gen's on/off is a literal on/off switch, where as the 3rd gen uses...

Re: 2nd gen steering wheel swap, for a 3rd gen wheel?

Ah okay. That's what I was most curious about keeping me from doing it, the splines on the column where the wheel goes on...

My SL2 actually has the leather wrapped wheel already in great shape, I...

Re: What car sites do you frequent?

Aside from here, I'm also active on a Chevy Blazer forum and a Hyundai forum, for our other two rides.

I also frequent V8S10.org since I'm planning an LS swap in my Blazer, and HID Planet because...

2nd gen steering wheel swap, for a 3rd gen wheel?

So I'm curious to see if anyone has ever tried to throw a 3rd gen steering wheel in a 2nd gen.

Wondering if it's basically a plug and play.

This is the style wheel that's currently in my 98....

Re: Banhammer the spammy !##%*@

So is Charlie the only moderator and the only one with the ability to ban user ID's?

If so, I really think he should be on more than once a week to take care of things like this... And if that's...

Re: Affordable LED fog lights with 3D printed brackets

Got them installed today, it they came out great!

They sit just a tad high in the hole, but they're also aimed as far up as possible at the moment until I get the chance to nose the car up to the...

I taught myself how to solder (with the help of YouTube) years ago when I got into hobby RC, and it's become an INVALUABLE skill when it comes to automotive repairs and modifications. Also helps...

Re: What is bouncing around inside my headlight?

Yep, time to replace them. Looks like they're just breaking apart from the inside out. Some headlights have a shield that is in side the housing that goes over the bulb, I've seen those break loose...
