Re: inserts?

If SDA is still making any, I would recommend getting them. Quality work, worth the little extra money.

Re: Need help finding wheels spacers

Thanks! I really don't need too much of a space, just enough to clear my new sway bar brackets. I'll try and track down some 10mm spacers

Need help finding wheels spacers

I just finished up putting in my AMR 19mm sway bar and CNC brackets, and it looks awesome. However, my wheels hit the new brackets, being that they are quite bigger than the stock ones. If anyone...

Re: Exhaust questions for 2002 sl2

I believe the stock piping is 1.75" don't know if it's inside or outside diameter. I'm not sure how long the actual muffler is offhand. It doesn't have to be exact

Re: Exhaust questions for 2002 sl2

Depending on how much money you want to spend, the Thermal R&D catback is top notch. I have one and never looked back. It is on the expensive side, but the quality is awesome, everything fits as it...

Re: struts?

KYB GR-2's are a good bet. I have them with H&R sport springs and they do just fine.

Re: Canuck lowering springs

I have no experience with Canuck, but I will say that the H&R sport springs I have are very nice and worth it.

Re: Wheel size

I have 16x7.5 wheels which are pretty wide and its lowered with H&R sports and haven't had any issues. 16's look the best IMO

Nice! Glad to hear that you like them. I'm definitely going to put those in when I install my H&R springs this spring.

Re: SDA dogbone mounts

I'm here in CT, ordering online shouldn't be an issue. I'll probably call in the order anyway. Anyone have these in their cars? I'd like to hear about how they feel, but I imagine anything is...

Re: My 97 SL windows are messed up...

I don't know if this helps, but I figured I'd chime in. As far as moving slow in the cold, my windows do that during the winter, once it warms up in spring, they are fine. Your window tracks also...

Re: R&D Cat back exhaust For First Gens?

I got a Thermal R&D about six months ago and I love it. Although it is a bit pricey, you get what you pay for in quality and construction, and it's awesome. The piping is stainless, it looks great,...

Re: Designing an exhaust sound I'll be proud to have behind me

Definitely gonna agree with everyone on the Thermal R&D. its worth the cost just in quality alone, it's an easy install, and its only loud when you wan it to be. Any catback will be a bit quieter...

Re: Best place to get parts online?

Try out saturnparts.net. I have gotten a few OEM parts from them (window sliders, black badges, etc). They ship from a Maryland dealership (correct me if I'm wrong) and have a turn-around of about...

Re: Eibach springs

What size wheels are those? I have 16's on now. I think I might settle on H&R sport springs and GR-2's.

Re: Looking for a smaller sub

Never had a JL like you mentioned, but I would suggest an MTX Thunder 5500 10 inch. I bought one on sale at Crutchfield for about $75. Like you, I needed trunk space, I play drums and needed to be...
