Re: OnStar Module (VCIM)

I traded in the Aura for a GTI back in October. Truth be told, I never did complete the project. I still have the VCIM and Bluetooth antenna sitting in a box in the garage. I'll take a look at the...

Re: my xr

I like how you you hid the front plate.

Looks like you work at a dealership. What part of Ohio are you from?

Re: Aura Special Wiper Blades - fyi

Bosch did recetly make a change to their line and now offer a wiper that is a direct-connect fit that does not require an adaptor to fit the Aura. I picked up a pair last month and really like them....

Re: SCORE! Radio w/ USB

Good point. However, if you already have onstar, then you are on the way to integrated bluetooth. The steering wheel buttons are already compatible as long as you have onstar.

I was able to get...

Re: SCORE! Radio w/ USB

The vcim controls the onstar and bluetooth functions. There may be other items that it covers, but these are the two that I am most familiar with.

The issue with swapping the vcim is that if the...

Re: SCORE! Radio w/ USB

To have bluetooth in the Aura, you need to swap out the vcim and have it programmed to the vin ( which in and of itself is no easy task as GM dealers will not help out) on any Aura that was not...

Re: Red Line Turbocharged Questions

GM offered the GMPP tune as a dealer-installed item for all model years of the LNF engine (2007 - 2009).

There are a couple of items that may point to the GM tune being installed on your car:

Re: Aura 6 speed downshifts

The tune was done via laptop and their proprietary cable through the OBD port. They call it the Powercal cable. I rented the cable from them and installed a small program on my laptop to allow it to...

Re: Aura 6 speed downshifts

I had my TCM reprogrammed by Vector Motorsports due to the same 6th to 4th issue we all have experienced. After the tune, it has became completely different car. When I just start to feel that "it is...

Re: RR Wheel Speed Sensor Circuit Malfunction

Thanks, again, F2G! I plan to test the sensor this weekend. Hopefully it is the sensor and not an issue withing the wiring. I despise chasing down wiring issues.

I use the same avatar across a...

RR Wheel Speed Sensor Circuit Malfunction

I have an '03 V6 AWD. Friday, the ABS malfunction indicator lamp lit and I'm getting a code for "RR wheel speed sensor circuit malfunction" as per the code reader at Advance Auto and at the dealer...

Re: Keyless Entry

I believe that is only an option with the '04 and up models. The BCM in the '02-'03 models is quite different.

However....

If you have an '02-'03 that has had the BCM replaced within the last...

Re: I really need help.. my 02 VUE lost power steering, all gauges are zero

Definitely the BCM. I also have an '03 Vue V6 and my BCM failed twice (once under warranty in '04 and again last month). Between '04 and the present they have changed the BCM to a newer design. You...

Re: 2003 V6 AWD issues (convert to 2WD)

I agree with Newbie. If the RDM clutch had locked up keeping the AWD engaged full time, the vibration would most likely still be present even after the removal of the drive shaft. I think the GM...

I also have an '03 Vue and have been using Royal Purple's ATF for the last several thousand miles. So far, so good. Shifts smoothly and is running quietly.

Re: Falken Ziex ZE 912

Looks like I fat-fingered that one. I bought them in size 225/50ZR18, not 245.
