I've been reading over the FSM and it is stating to remove the frame on the driver's side of the car in order to get the trans side cover off. Is this the only way? It looks like it might clear...

I think i did it correctly. I followed the FSM instructions.

From the FSM:
Raise the vehicle on a hoist. The vehicle must be level, with the engine running and the shift lever in the PARK range....

Thanks for the reply, FDryer. I was also thinking one of the trans solenoids was not functioning properly. Do you know how to test them to see which is acting up? Or do you just keep replacing them...

Does it have the I4 or the V6 motor? Probably the 2.2L 4 cylinder. as stated, the car is what it is. Not many sold so aftermarket parts are scarce if you can find any at all.

Maybe replace it with the same diameter and length hose? or maybe take a slightly smaller diameter hose and splice it in between? Probably only need a few inches of smaller hose to close that gap so...

Tried swapping the relay with another one? or you could jump it with a piece of wire. I forget which pin to energize and which to ground but a search should find it. if you can't get the pump to run,...

MAP sensor code is for "voltage too low". you need a multimeter to properly test. Replace it and get out of the cold!

EGR valve been cleaned/replaced? Cleaning is cheaper. it could be clogged and sticking. it opens and closes at cruising(highway) speed and will cause stumbling/stalling like you describe.
