Wrench Shifter not going to middle?

Hey all,

At the beginning of summer, I did a manual swap, and as some may remember, I bought aftermarket shifter cables to save time. Well, I've never paid attention to shifters ability to go back...

Re: What did you do to your S-Series today...

Went to the junkyard yesterday and decided to pull near every panel off a white SL2 cause I've always wanted my car white. The car already had two door skins off but it was fell off its JY wheel so...

Re: Automatic Climate Control project

For sure, I will be here all year!

Definitely a valid concern, though the only new mechanical portions of the project would be the potentiometer and the servo. I am more worried about the...

Automatic Climate Control project

Hey all,

Finally got my Arduino in the mail and can start my climate control project. There is no particular reason why I need to do this, but it will give me more room in the centre console area...

Re: What do you think of this stereo?

If you are willing to wait and have a second-gen, I will be designing a double din mount for the dashboard rather than the original radio spot so that you won't need to look down for the radio.

Re: 2nd Gen Interior Center Console Handle 3D Print Model

Yeah, that requires 4 screws to keep everything together. The clips do assist in keeping it sound though as you mentioned before, taking these off is almost certain destruction of the piece 'hangers'.

Re: Don't you hate aluminum wheels?

I know why they look awful. I should've clarified, why do Saturn aluminium alloys look way worse than anything else at this age? I can go to the junkyard and while other aluminium alloys aren't...

Which plastic panel? I think we are talking about the same one. 1, 2, or 3?

Re: Don't you hate aluminum wheels?

I am trying to find a pair of 15-inch steelies that are silver but since I live in an apartment I can't really store my awful aluminium anywhere. I don't understand why they look so awful, other cars...

Re: 2nd Gen Interior Center Console Handle 3D Print Model

Are you referring to the plastic that is below the handle? I never bother with those even if they break as you have 4 screws keeping it in place.

Re: Clear lens headlights

I went through the process to wire in OEM fog lights in my second-gen SL2 and can tell you that they don't help with overall light. A member on here, to who I can't remember, made this video of him...

Re: Steering wheel controls?

I don't know off of the top of my head, but doesn't the cruise control have accessory power? Those small watch batteries don't exactly provide a ton of amperage.

Re: Steering wheel controls?

Yeah, that is the biggest issue for me. I planned on buying one of these and ripping the board out and placing it on the opposite side of the cruise control with a 3D printed housing. However, you...

Re: manual swap question

You do not have to change the computer, but as you already know you won't have a rev limiter and you'll have a SES light. Apparently the engine will try to shift and act weirdly with the auto,...
