Re: Eonon GM5155

I just wanted to thank you very much for the time you took in making the review and providing me with feedback. If I decide to buy it, I'll probably go for the cheaper version thanks to you.

Re: Eonon GM5155

Quick question if I may (and a comment):

Can you still reach the Diagnostics menu on the information display?

I really enjoy having a way to look at my coolant temperature from there.

Re: Brake Fluid Flush

Thank you very much for all the info and for the offer; you made me realize I don't need the metallic cap version, but I would still like to buy my own bleeder.

I was planning on just pushing the...

Re: Brake Fluid Flush

Hey, I'm thinking on bleeding my Astra's brakes and I have some questions about your experience:

1. What type of DOT 4 liquid did you use? I'm looking at ATE TYP 200 for my procedure, its cheaper...

Re: Clutch bleeding

Is this for Manual Transmission Saturn Astras? Or Does the Automatic Transmission need clutch bleeding too?

I only ask because I remember being told that the automatic has a clutch.

Re: HIR headlight upgrade

Haha, ditto!

I think that I'll just end up messing with the radio/speakers only. After all, its what's inside that counts.

Re: HIR headlight upgrade

I might have worded it wrong. I know of hirheadlights.com. That's where I got the info on the 300~ hour life span for the 9011 HIR bulbs. What I don't know, is how long they are going to last on the...

Re: HIR headlight upgrade

And if you can, please link to the specific item purchased. The placed purchased would be nice. I know Rondosa pointed to v-led.com, but it seemed like too much tinkering for me. (warranty cautious)...

Re: Astra Questions (Potential Buyer)

My recommendation to the OP is to burn a cd with mp3s on it and go test drive the car. See if he likes the way the mp3 player works and if he can live with the load time; test drive the car also, and...

Re: Antifreeze smell in Astra

WTH?! Whats all this about transmission damage? I have an automatic XR and I've always smelled the nice sweet smell from running the fan without AC. I never though of it as a problem; in fact, I...

Re: Current market new 08 Astra pricing

CD40 Opera is the basically the "advanced radio," but from what I'm hearing here, It seems that it was a waist of money upgrading the car to that. I didn't try the CD30 which is the regular one. It...

Re: Current market new 08 Astra pricing

Yes, I agree, The XR 5dr manuals fully loaded including moon roof are practically impossible to find. I don't even know if anyone in the USA got one. I had to end up settling for an Automatic.

I...

Re: Problems with Driver's Side Window - Anyone else??

My windows have not been falling off, but I have noticed a strange popping sound every time I raise them up all the way; it's as if the window applies too much pressure at the top end. I never paid...

Re: My clock is losing time

I haven't had any problems with any time loss; however, I have noticed that my outside temperature reading is off by a few degrees. I'll be asking my dealership to take a look at it next time I go in.

Re: FS: Complete brand new HID setup for Astra

I'm guessing dealership in Canada are more open to their customer's vehicle customization then the ones here in the US. Just my 2 cents. I could be wrong.

Re: ASTRA Owners

I bought a hitch for my 4dr XR. It was a pain to mount it myself, but I was not going to pay $200 dollars for the dealership to do it. I bought mine from etrailer.com. So far so good, but I'm only...
