Driver side rad head tank? That seems to be a common fail point for our coolant systems. It starts as a small crack, that tends not to leak when the coolant is cool, and leaks a fine mist when hot.

I don't think you'll see a large difference in mpg or hp as the car was designed to with the cat......

yes thats my bolt, but theres a plastic black tube coming from the plastic thats between the bolt head and block. That tube runs upward then meets some wire.... which is what puzzles me, their...

Ok I got under her today... My findings:

Check the oil pan, seems solid... But on my inspection I found a nut that continuously let's me fresh oil out.
The nut has a black plastic tube coming...

i'd really hate.... HATE to scrap my beloved sl2 just cause it burns some oil, and by some i mean a lot...

mechanically everything is smooth on the car, i've never heard a 11 year old engine start...
