I would let engine idle with hood open... approach engine bay and examine.

The sound might be clutch plate/release-bearing deteriorated.

Water pumps (coolant circulators) also can develop...

I think i put a Walker downpipe from RockAuto onto the OEM catcon with
a U-bolted clamp. The downpipe includes the flexible section.

I think both Dayco and Gates made tensioners under contract to Saturn.

I think all the current aftermarket devices lack the OEM-specified hydraulic
damper.
