1-The flat nosed brass coolant sensor is fine as designed and shouldn't be any cause for concern. What's important...

Re: 2008 vue no heat

Re: SL-2 starting problem after sitting 3/4 days

Re: Driving on Ice

As mentioned by at least one member here, driving in inclement weather conditions brings out the worst and safest drivers despite their vehicle of choice. Its the driver, not the vehicle, that can...

Re: 05 saturn vue, crank no start

Hearsay is great if it relates to a specific vehicle. If you choose to use hearsay that doesn't specifically point to your car then it's useless. As far as Saturn vehicles and their EFI systems; no...

Re: 2008 vue no heat

Ocgirl, with a large bill and still no heat suggests one or two things that may be overlooked but may have been covered since you're the only one relaying what was done. Did this shop hand feel both...

Re: 05 saturn vue, crank no start

Did you check for blown fuses? Don't assume, check. Better to waste time checking fuses than to spend useless time chasing a problem when a fuse blew and wasn't found.

Your descriptions doesn't...

Re: Clicking when starting

I'm hesitant for the following suggestion because of your situation requiring testing the starter on the same conditions you described and in cold temps. To isolate a starter problem (worn out after...

Re: Driving on Ice

"Houston, we have a problem!"

Re: Central locking: instant lock/unlock & open door signal

In general, every side door has its door switch to signal whether the door is open or closed. The dome light is the easiest way to test each door switch, presuming the dome light works. The driver's...

Re: 97 SW2 no start

1-When you pulled a plug, was it wet/smelled of fuel or not? This is a major clue for troubleshooting.
