Re: 2001 Saturn SC2 revs dropping at idle - engine stall

pretty much in this order:

air idle control valve
throttle body cleaning
ETCS
Thermostat...

Re: Power Steering Fluid...

I had bought just standard ol power steering fluid for my Saturn when I replaced the pump. Flushed all the old stuff and refilled. Horrible. Noisy, hard to turn when cold, etc.

So I replaced it...

Re: Front strut mounting bracket

You need to really take a good look at the subframe before you put a lot of work into this. The subframe mount to the lower control arms can be bent and if they are it will require a replacement sub...

Re: Blower motor issue

probably both at this point.

You need to fix the connection issue first. Tighten or replace the connector on the wire and then clean up the terminal in the motor.

The other possibility is that...

Re: 1999 SC2 manual with seized engine

Look up Cleggengine.com

I've bought from them a couple of times and the parts are always top quality name brands. They are great to work with if you don't see exactly what you need or want on...

Re: up shift light on all the time even when idie

Re: passenger side tire wear inside

Those arms will be somewhat weak if they've been bent and I'd recommend replacing the bent arm.

Either way you need an alignment. Even know what to adjust is just guessing unless you have the...

Re: 2002 sc2 cam shaft sensor

So back to the primary issue at hand... it won't start. These are not really complicated engines so start with the basics, fuel and spark.

Pull the plug wires off the coils and have someone else...

Re: Extremely Poor Gas Mileage 1995 SW2 Auto

Re: sc2 wont start, how to jump starter from relay?

I'd jump between the top terminal on the starter to the small one with the purple wire. Doing so should engage the starter. If nothing happens it's new starter time.
