Re: The perfect marriage for Saturn

I concur. I refresh my monitor and computer at different times. I had a 20" Sony Trintion CRT through at least 3 different computer refresh years ago. Seems like lately though, I went from a 19"...

Re: The perfect marriage for Saturn

Uh, no. Apple never invented any of those (GUI, AIO PC, mp3 player). Apple may have mainstreamed it, but no way they invented those technologies.

Re: Email sent to Saturn owners

Yes, but I wouldn't call putting a letter from the president of Saturn on Hummer's page a 'centrallized' idea. Point was, GM is a big mismanaged corporation and it's spilled over to Saturn.

Re: Email sent to Saturn owners

So basically just like how Saturn was run for the past 10 years as GM pulls it closer to the mothership.

Re: Saturn of Atlanta is Excited About the Future of Saturn

How can it be excited about Saturn's future when there's no finalized direction where or what this brand is going to be. That's the whole problem right now. The one and only thing we know for...

Re: Opel coming to the U.S. as rebadges

It was a statistic of no value? Give me a break. Buicks have the stigma of an old person's car in the US rightfully so because most of their buyers are near or above retirement age. That's value...

Re: Email sent to Saturn owners

Very possible that might be indication that the potential buyer will be buying Hummer and Saturn together like Land Rover and Jaguar.

Re: Opel coming to the U.S. as rebadges

Average age for a Buick buyer is 63. Saturn buyer's average age is in the 40's.

Re: We need to get Saturn to team up with Saab

Saab's engineering is practically no more. All of Saab's products the past decade are practically GM rehashes, which the exception of one Subaru (Although that could be argued to be GM since GM had...

Re: If Saturn as you know of today was gone, what would be your brand of choice?

I have to say this. I was never a big Ford fan at all. I never liked the Taurus after it went to the overstyled oval theme in the third generation, but the new Taurus coming out in 2010 looks very,...

Re: Quote from Saturn FOT member

I'm betting Tata has a very strong interest. It already has a foothold in the North American market via upscale division in Jaguar and Land Rover. It just needs a mainstream brand to be complete...

Re: Help me Understand

Because most of us came from owning Toyotas, Hondas, or Nissans and some VWs and went to Saturn because it was an alternative American product that wasn't your typical GM rehash.

If Saturn goes...

Re: Kelly Blue Book Resale Value 2009 Winners

Jeep Wranglers have always had a pretty good resale rate. The Tahoe Hybrid...well, its a hybrid. And they were selling them in very limited quantities last year when it came out.

Re: Look in the Mirror

I think some of the blame can be pointed right back at Saturn itself. For about a decade, the brand has built a loyal following based on its alternative 'different' American brand stigma. Although...

Re: If Saturn as you know of today was gone, what would be your brand of choice?

Who said future Saturn's are going to be rebadge foreign built products?

Jill: "[Saturn] would continue to source current products from GM through 2011 and if successful, SDC at that point would...

Re: If Saturn as you know of today was gone, what would be your brand of choice?

Initially, I wanted to vote Honda, but most of their new product line doesn't appeal to me. Don't get me started on the buttons galore Accord and the ugly Acura grill.

I've noticed the quality of...

Question If Saturn as you know of today was gone, what would be your brand of choice?

Just for the kicks of it, I put in that last option IF Saturn did spin-off as a retailer only for Indian or Chinese cars.

Reply with some models you're eyeing at for your next car.

Re: Saturn Focused on Refining its Lineup for the 2009 Model Year

I don't know if that stigma stands anymore now that they have a proper RWD turbo coupe in its lineup.

Re: saturn dealers told to wait 60 days before making any decisions

I'll repeat what I said in a different thread. Saturn strictly selling rebadge imports, either it be from India, China, or Europe, is basically a slap in the face to the original intent of what the...

Re: saturn dealers told to wait 60 days before making any decisions

I find it funny that you're whining about speculations and rumors when the whole 'spin-off' thing is speculations and rumors itself. The only fact we have now is GM wants to rid of itself from...

Re: Article on Saturn

Marx404 is in denial on so many fronts. The writing is practically on the wall and even if there is a solution for this so-called spinoff, there's no win out of it. From Saturn itself very possibly...
