I'm 28 and engaged. But hey, she and I both drive Saturns. As long as its a weekend, I should be able to come.

Re: 100K Mile PM list

I dont think so. My fiance has a V6 Vue without the Honda motor. About the same miles, no motor or trans problems. My 96 with no motor problems (loses about 0.5 quarts between oil changes) has...

Re: 100K Mile PM list

That Honda Engine and Tranny are the things I hate most about my Vue. But thats a completely different rant. I purchased my SATURN at a SATURN dealer. Therefore, any service that I dont do myself,...

Re: 100K Mile PM list

My 04 V6 AWD Vue has about 130k on it and I just took it in for the timing belt. The spark plugs are doable, though the rear ones were a pain. The trans fluid change was easier than the spark plugs...

Re: 05 V6 Vue Oil pan change

Its not as easy as you would like, buts its not hard either. When I replaced mine, I purchased the liquid gasket maker from AutoZone (I think it was called ultra black). You do have to lower the...

Re: Problems arise

I contacted the dealership and have an appointment for Saturday. They made it sound as if they would take care of everything and not to worry about it. They also mentioned that if I felt unsafe...

Re: Problems arise

Thanks for your input. FYI, my vue has no issues starting cold or any hesitation issues. Sometimes after driving for a while, it would hesitate to start, but would always start. My dealer (saturn...

Problems arise

I own a 2004 V6 AWD Vue with approximately 130,000 miles on it. After going back and forth between doing the timing belt myself, or taking it to the dealer, I chose the dealer. Mostly because I...

Re: 2004 Roof rack questions...

FYI, the hitch mounted racks typically allow you to lock your bike onto the rack. You can also lock the rack to the hitch receiver. Therfore, no one can take you bike. If I recall corectly, the...

Re: 2004 Roof rack questions...

I like the ones that mount in my tow hitch. It holds four bikes, opens up tot he side of the vehicle so I can still get in the back of the vue. Mine is made by Thule and ordered it from LL Bean. I...

Re: Western New York Saturn Meet!

I'm not too close to Buffalo, but depending on the date, I would definately be interested and most likely come. I never look at this part of the site either.

Re: stuck brake drums

Not to sound rude or anything, but did you make sure the parking break is off. I speak from experience on that one. I tried for about 45 minutes with my dad to remove a rear drum on my vue. I was...

Re: Manual Transmission Replacement

I took a look at it last night when I got home, the transmission looked soaked. It did have some fluid in it, not much though.

Thanks,

Re: Manual Transmission Replacement

Unfortunately, I have not had time to jack it up yet. It is usually between 9 and 10PM when I get home at night. I will have time next week to take a look at it.

Re: Questions before a possible Vue Purchase

I've been happy with my 04 Vue AWD V6. Its very reliable so far.

As to the AWD...it works well in most situations. I disagree with the people who say if FWD wont cut it, you should not be there....

Re: BWAHAHAHAHAH!!! Iroc-z camaro and Turbo PT Cruiser... DEAD!!!!!

Re: ION Fuel Economy?

Its been a while since I have looked at my Ion disk, but I was always up around 40mpg. I did a lot of highway driving. It was an Ion3 sedan with a manual transmission. It was cheap on gas and I am...
