Re: Inside windshield keeps getting hazy

I believe that cleaners with ammonia can cause a haze build-up on windows. I use Invisible Glass for the windows (found in automotive sections of Wally World, and auto parts stores).

I wonder if...

Re: Replacing Transmission valve body

Not the cover, just the gasket #21001683. I'm in the middle of cleaning the cover. It is covered in oil, especially on the edges.

Re: Wet headliner board opinion

Since the headliner has been wet, I assume that it has water stains. It would be best to replace the headliner.

As of today, I am only getting a transmission code 25. I have checked the solenoids and they read between 6,2-6,5 ohm.

I have already changed the fluid early in the week (the old fluid had a...

Re: Transmission Problems

To clarify my post, these are transmission codes, not the PCM codes as I retrieved the codes by jumping the points. The transmission codes are the flashing coolant light after flashing the Service...

Transmission Problems

I just had some problems with the auto transmission on my 95 SL1. I just got home and pulled the codes: 26 and 84.

The problem began when it seemed as though the wheel bearing was going out, but...

Re: 93saturn sl2 have abs or no?!

I second the checking the Master Brake cylinder. Mine has it and it is a very large and complicated looking part as compared to ones without ABS. Another area to check is if the car is automatic,...

Re: Fuel Tank Capacity ?

My fuel gauge is weak too. But I know I average 34-36 mpg in combination driving. So I use the trip meter and since the tank holds 12.1 gallons, I know that 100 miles per quarter tank and I fill up...

Re: updated Defy oil usage.?

Quaker State oil seems to be a weak oil compared to others. I had it once in my dad's Saturn and it burned faster than regular Valvoline.

Re: SC roof rack?

The stretch kit (aka Short Roof Adapter) connects to the front and rear bars to get the maximum distance between the bars. Since the SC has wide doors, and little distance between the bars, the clips...

Re: Saturn SC1 Surging on hills?

I don't beleive it is a źdesign flaw╗ as my SL1 is hitting 350 000 miles. I once experienced the surging on hills; it was due to to the fuel system, that is, injectors and cleaning the throttle helps...
