You have the right oil if you have the Honda brand, off the top of my head it's DZ1 or something close to that. If you have a V6 you defenitely don't have a CVT tranny.

Glad that you got it fixed. Just for reference for anyone in the future, a cylinder misfire code can also be caused by a loose spark plug. Don't ask me how I know that one....:D

After looking at Rockauto it looks like they used the same 100% certified POS centre drive shaft bearing for the newer Vue's as the previous 2002-2007 plastic body ones...

That's what thought until I had one go out on me after about 2 years.

I think SKF premium are better IMO, so far so good - still lasting after about 4 or 5 years.

Yea, after doing a bunch of searching on the internet this failure is not that uncommon and it seems that the common causes of this failure code are low oil level, partially blocked VVT filter screen...

It's the rubber flex hose brake lines period. Replace both of them and that will fix your front brake problems.

Is the whole rear end shot or just the RDM?
The torrent/equinox use the same RDM as the Vue. They are not terribly difficult to replace, but you will need the spline alignment tool to get the gears...
