It was camshaft sensor... It started rough a few times and had hesitant throttling..... Replaced and fixed!!!

Turns out that the camshaft position sensor is located behind the left camshaft sprocket....Which means it is behind left timing belt cover!

I saw this video. His is a 2009 its different, ours dont have the power steering pump. Im thinking its behind the rear timing belt cover!

our 2005 Saturn Vue 3.5 V6 has check engine light on so i went to auto zone to have it read on computer and we got a code P0341 indicating its the camshaft position sensor. Does anyone know if this...

Vue is known for having bad bearings. Heck ours had 2 bad ones the first week after buying it new. You will know if its bad, you get roaring, humming sound constantly.

I am having a similar problem with cold starts, no codes or anything like that.
Just long cranking time till it starts, like its not getting gas to fire. It cranks good (normal) Just had timing belt...

After further inspecting, it turns out the red terminal protector was interfering with the voltage. I cleaned them off and Wala! light is out!

But after driving about 2 miles it goes out! It comes on at every start up.

Yes it started right up this morning....Had alt/battery checked today...All good...Readings of 14.5 with all accessories running...I run Sunoco gas in it oct 97

Connection looks good. no corrosion. The red stuff is still present on the post.

I did check voltage with it running turned all the lights,heater ect on and i got good readings 14.5.......However the alternator does have a whistling/whirling sound to it when first started then...

Our gas gage always reads 1/8 when on empty...So we have to make sure we dont run to low.....The light will come on but still reads 1/8...

Just did my struts, had to use the old springs because they dont carry the kits struts w/springs anymore. Replaced the sway arms, rotors/brakes while i was at it. Had to get a realignment done. Nice...
