Re: warped rotors - AGAIN
Understatement of the day right there.
On the old '99, I had great success with ElCheapo Autozone blanks and a full set F/R Hawk HPS. I'm going to try that on the Aura when I get the money...

Re: 09' Aura XR front passenger door won't open.
Funny story. My dad had to back my car down the driveway during the snowstorm last year so we could shovel the driveway. The doors unlocked when he turned the car off, but the drivers door would not...

Re: On the topic of strut braces......
My old car was dropped on coilovers with a FSTB and an upgraded rear adjustable swaybar on full hard, and solid motor mounts. Believe me, sacrificing ride quality is nothing for me, because I've yet...

Re: On the topic of strut braces......
For a mid-size FWD sedan, it's ok, but not great. There's a LOT of improvements to be made on it.
Then again, most of my cars have always handled extremely well, so maybe it's just me.
Then...

Re: Clarion VX400 radio install
70's on 7 FTW.
I want this too, because honestly, the stock radio is really lacking.
The reasons I'm holding off on it are because:
1) Lack of money
2) I want a radio that lights orange...

Re: So I have a '11 Malibu...
I still view some of them as lazy. You can't really opt out of them on newer high-end cars though.
Touche.
However, I keep my hands on the wheel. Maybe it's because I have long fingers...

Re: So I have a '11 Malibu...
:?:
I could swear that it makes absolutely no sense to do that "swap", if it even is one. Even my 99 SL2 had partial activation when held. Hell, I think my 89 S15 SC 4x4 had it...and I'm...

If you're removing a steering box, you have an issue to start out with.

Usually a component locator lists every relay and module in the car.
I know the Camry's have a solid state inside the dash, not near any fuses.

Is there anything in the FSM about the flasher functions and/or service?

Re: Flasher relay
Need someone with an FSM to get component locations and see if it's BCM, solid state, or hidden somewhere. I checked all 3 boxes, and didn't find one, but it could be one of those silent tie-in's...
