This is Mike from Saturn of Tiffany Springs. I just want to say thanks for giving us the opportunity to serve you, and if you need anything else please don't hesitate to call me directly. I'm here...

Re: center console? urgent, about to leave

Yes, the main part of the console in '95 are the same for an auto and a manual. You just need the associated parts for your trans type. On a side note, they are the same from '95-'99.

That is completely incorrect. Please see my post above.

Re: New member ........fuel filter question

Back by the gas tank. It's a fuel filter/pressure regulator combo. The Saturn part number is 21009427. Some parts stores supposedly have one that will work, but I haven't found any in my area.

Re: Oh My God~ My Vti Is Dying!

What kind of extended warranty did you buy? Is it an actual Saturn extended warranty, or is it one from an aftermarket company like Wynns, or Resource? If it's a Saturn extended warranty, they will...

Re: chrome roof rails 2006 saturn vue

It is possible to get the parts to do it, but it will set you back a pretty penny. For all the parts to make the conversion, you would be looking at ~$850.00 for parts only from your local dealer....

Re: Can anyone help...Saturn hasn't yet :(

Out of curiosity, what recall are you referring to? Or is it a TSB? Is your vehicle still under factory warranty?

Re: Are BCM's usually covered under an extended warranty??

If you have to pay for it, you are looking at ~$300 for the BCM plus labor, which is probably around $80 to $160, can't say for sure on that part though. However, our service dept. almost never has a...

Re: BCM coming for the PCM, anything else needed?

They don't want to work on it because you bought parts from somewhere else, and no matter how much you are positive of the parts being good and correct, they have no way of knowing that as a fact.

Re: Painting the exhaust header

Powder coating will not hold up. Like Uzzy said, ceramic coating would be best.
I have however had good luck with VHT's black flameproof paint(part number SP-102), the only problem you would run...

Re: To fellow ION owners!!!!! PLEASE HELP!!!!

It should be part number 22718961, if I'm looking at the picture correctly. It runs around $20 from the dealer and there are 2 in the Saturn warehouse in Spring Hill. The only concern I have is that...

Re: GM Employee Discount for Sky

Nope, it's not crap. I can get the discount, but I will defend the retailer to the end on this. Also, I do not make any money on a vehicle sale, so nobody can accuse me of being 'greedy' and wanting...

Re: Try and get a proper replacement windshield

Yes, 03-07 Ion Sedans use the same windshield. Pawned, that seems a little on the high side for your windshield replacement. Saturns MSRP for your glass is ~$340.00. That means that they are charging...

Oops, sorry about that, I didn't pay attention to what year yours is. To Kat, yes they are all drive by wire from '05 and up.

Re: rl gas pedal vs non-rl

Nope, the Redline throttle pedal is an electronic unit and the non Redline is cable controlled, assuming my catalog is correct. I don't have a car here to look at, or I would check to be sure, but...

Re: Try and get a proper replacement windshield

Manufacturers change vendors for parts all the time and as such, the parts don't always appear the same. A perfect example of this is the L-series rear bumper cover. The original had the Saturn name...

Re: 2001 L200 Upper break Lamp

It's a PC168, and unless you have a pretty intelligent parts guy at your local parts store, he probably will not be able to find them. Most parts stores just carry the bulb, without the base, which...

He means he was trained as a Saturn technician in '96 at Spring Hill. Now he is a police officer.

Oh and to quote Jim Carrey in 'Liar,Liar', "Stop Breaking the Law *******!"

Re: Cheapest place online for Wheel & Tire Bundle

Here's another vote for www.tirerack.com
Also, www.jcwhitney.com has some tire and wheel packages at reasonable prices.

Re: What's a good headlight?

I put the Silverstars in my car on both high and low beams. The lows have a very nice color to them, but the brights just look like a brighter version of my stock bulbs.

Re: Replacing all end links

You don't have front links. The sway bar has bushings and clamps that hold it to the cradle and the ends go through the control arms.

The rears, as well as the front bushings and brackets, are...

Re: THose three little buttons

You can do it if you buy a switch set that has all three functional buttons. The part number for the factory switch set for a '95 SL1 is 21022746. It has the TC,Defrost and fog lamp switches that...

I'm not going to come on here and tell you it's your driving habits, but out of all the Saturn vehicles, we replace less Vue rotors in a year than we do S series in a week. I checked our sales...

Re: I hate crutchfield!!! 6-1/2's all around?

6 1/2" all around is correct. Most of them have littel "ears" that extend up to where the original push pins went in for the original speakers. They should include some 'speed nuts' that will go on...
