Happened to me once, turned out there was a leak on the valve and I thought my sensor was haywire.

I would concur to that. I think they are OEM ones, but reliable.

Also I heard that after market body parts have engineered body parts that fit the 2 and 3 for better cost cutting on behalf of their production.

If I remember correctly, they regard these cracks on the Polymer as "Polymer Fatigue"
