Check your engine mounts. I had a stupid popping Noise on the drivers side. I changed the torque struts (dogbones) it quit.

with all this hot weather my "key in ignition" switch has decided to stay on so when you open the door it dings.

I would have to order an OEM one. Not sure that the one I bought can go back. I was getting no codes from the original just the hesitation.

struts should have doen it long time ago.

SL1 158k had original struts. put new monroe quick struts on ( worth every penny). Its like having a new car.
I should have done this a looong time ago.
