I have the square-bar Thule roof rack installed and there is no interference with sunroof operation. And the pre-mount locations on the roof rails are awesome! :)

I had a high idle issue on my old 2000 SL1 auto as well. I replaced the intake manifold gasket and ECTS and it went back to normal idle. I remember I could visually see where the intake manifold...

Under thatjerryguy's link there's an interior shot from the driver's side. It looks like they might have moved the board computer display to the gauge cluster in between the tack and speedo.

What I like about this option is the song/artist/album info is displayed on the screen, where as in other cars, if an mp3 player is hooked up through a port, all that would be displayed would be 'aux...
