a couple of years ago I replaced all the suspension bushes (2 each side) and the big donuit bushes on the trailing arms of my son;s 2003 L300. I got all the parts from the UK. The only thing I did...

Re: Timing belt broke

2001 L300 isn't worth a lot of money to begin with. A bad engine and it makes it a boat anchor.

I would suspect the cheapest way to get it running again is a used engine, that you know the history...

Re: Moisture under coil pack

I was watching a you tube video today by Pine Hollow Diagnostics. He was working on a volvo v70 with a no start condition. It had 210,000 miles on the clock. He fixed that issue and then went onto...

Re: Unknown Horn Wiring

Unlike many other manufacturers, Saturn on the L series placed a wiring loom that covered all the options for the vehicle. So you have the wiring there for the fog lamps, heated seats, etc. What...

Re: Intake runner diverter/tuner

If you mean the solenoid actuated component that's on the end of the intake manifold nearest side to the battery, then I can say I had problems with that a few years back.

It too was stiff. I had...

Re: L300 Headliner Sag/Water Leak(?)

Replacement Headliner is a composite of a foam backing with the headliner material glued onto it. It is quite substantial in thickness. It is that foam backing and the glue that has failed on yours....

Re: L300 Headliner Sag/Water Leak(?)

When you remove the headliner with the shell from the car, all the cut outs are on the shell. All you do is lay the headliner on top to cut to size and also mark around everywhere that needs cuts to...

If you don;t have a sunroof, then the sagging headliner is just old age. The headliner consists of an inner roof molding made of compressed cardboard or similar. The headliner material is then glued...

Re: the old plastic window molding trick

Parts no longer available. You will only find them at junkyards. Been there, done that. Frustrating, but part of owning an orphan!

Re: '03 L200 Wiring Question...

I googled this question as Pierrot's advice is rarely wrong. However, it is not as clear cut as they can or they can't.

From the RVing site that discussed towing flat and the Saturn L series in...

Re: O2 sensor replaced, codes cleared, running worse now

Many owners do repairs and then problems occur and try to fix the new problems, without really taking a step back and revisiting the repair they just did.

That may be the case here.

You had the...
