Re: My 1996 saturn SL2 isnt starting everytime, it just clicks. can you help?

The clicking noise in most cases means that your solenoid is still operating, which leads me to believe that it is either the battery or the connection. One thing to check would be to try starting it...

Re: What brake pads does everyone use?

Ceramics sometimes do that because of their tendancy to be as hard or harder than the rotor, but they sure work good.

Re: Whats the best coolant?

I'll probably have a lot of people dissagree with me, but I have had bad luck with DEX-COOL. My personal opinion would be to flush out the old stuff (pink or green), use a good 50/50 mix of regular...

Re: How do you install low beam headlamps?

Another easy way to tell the difference is the low beams (the 9006s) have the bulb tips covered and the high beams (the 9005s) do not. Its also easier to change them with the headlight removed. 9005s...

I got a new EGR at carquest for around $100. Just my experience, but when my car had exactly the same problems as described, it was the EGR.

Re: What is the sound in my saturn sl2?

If you are hearing it in the area between the front and back seats its probably the cat or the heatshield on it expanding or contacting.
