If you are careful you can drain the fluid without taking a shower in it, loosen bolts, pop pan loose on the side away from you and the fluid will drain from there and not all over you.

I have access to the GM parts catalog, verified that it is the correct part aftermarket, the other side is less.:D

I found the problem, see pic, cheap fix, everything else looked good, roadtest confirmed problem solved.

If your engine is turning 3000 rpm and you are only going 10 mph, better get trans or clutch checked, or maybe brakes are dragging, need more info to help you.
