Re: ABS engages at super low speeds

Well fellow Vue owners, I found the problem.

First, I stopped the problem by unplugging the ABS fuse under the hood. Caused the ABS light to come on, and obviously no ABS function, but it stopped...

Re: Which OBDII tester to buy? Actron? Equus? Another?

Why not the Scan Guage II?
Seems like the best of the bunch with more functionality and cheaper too!

Any experience with this one? Does it monitor Trans. temp?

Re: fan switch

Been towing my 21' boat with my Vue Redline for three summers now. Weighs a bit over the 3500 lb rating. Just drive smart, and take it easy. The Vue will do a fine job. I did add a tranny cooler.

ABS engages at super low speeds

Just recently my ABS has been engaging off and on when I come up to a stop. It only happens about 25% of the time or less, and only just before I am about to stop (super slow speeds). There are no...

scan gage II and 2004 Vue

Does anybody have a scan gage II? Interested in knowing if it gives trans temperature. I do a lot of towing and would like to use it to monitor temps.

Thanks!

Re: Another CHEAP alternative RL tire choice

Well, the thread is not about buying something exotic. Its about those of us on a budget who can not afford something like that and need a cheap alternative to fit on the RL.

The fact is, the...

Re: Another CHEAP alternative RL tire choice

They are not as quiet as my previous tiers Yoko 225/55-18. But they are quiter than the stockers.

Another CHEAP alternative RL tire choice

ok folks, I'm pretty sure I was the first to try out the 225/55-18's on the RL a couple of years ago. Well, it was time for tires again, and I did some shopping around...and looking at more...

Engine ID questions

I recently got into a fender bender. Actually, it was quite minor...under 10 mph, but I hit a solid pole just right to the point that one of the engine mounts broke off the block. The insurance...

Thanks for the info. Are there any exploded diagrams for dash dis-assembly? It looks pretty easy from just taking a quick look at it. Any "watch-its"?

Little heat - need help adjusting selector

I can turn my temp nob all the way clockwise until it points almost straight down. I am guessing that it is controlling a cable that slipped a bit, as I get almost no heat even with the nob turned...
