Re: XE FWD How many miles per tank of gas

Our 07 XE usually gets around 16 +/- 2 mpg with mostly city driving. A recent road trip to Vegas (at a steady 65-70mph) netted 25.5 mpg.

Re: 2007 Goodyear Fortera 18" tire cupping problem

Is it present on all 4 tires? Unless you tow or carry a lot of heavy loads it more than likely caused by a weak strut or spring.

Re: Any alternatives to the 18" Fortera tires on the Outlook XE?

It's all realitive I guess. For some this is the first time they have to buy 18 inch tires. Hopefully there will be some alternate choices in the market pretty soon.

Re: Dealer PRICE for an Oil Change and Tire Rotation

The dealer here in San Diego will do the oil change and rotation (No balance) for $29.99. That was a couple months ago, I need to drive by and see if that price is still good though.

Re: Any alternatives to the 18" Fortera tires on the Outlook XE?

I did a quick search on Tirerack.com and discounttires.com and they only show the Goodyear tire. Must be a unique size? They certainly are not cheap!

Re: 07 Saturn Outlook rust everywhere.

I am begining to wonder what this so called "acid" wash is. It sounds pretty drastic to me. Why use some harsh chemical when clay is completely safe? (as long as it is clean). I would never put an...

Re: Update sought on Rail Rust issue, WD paint question

I don't have any info on the staining. As far as rail dust goes, clay bars will usually take care of it. Clay is non abrasive, it will "lift" the contaminates from the paint and leave it very very...

Re: Windshield Cost

I had my windshield replaced 2 weeks ago. Looking at the invoice I had to sign the cost of the windshield was $248. I went through my insurance so that might be a "special" price for insurance. As...

I agree with the above. I had mine done on Oct 8th and since have had no problems or regrets. Gas mileage went up a little. At first the transmission seemed a little "over agressive" not in a bad...
