Re: Needed- Parking Brake Release Button

Re: Needed- Parking Brake Release Button

As they say, there is good and design and bad design. There is also "good" plastic and "bad" plastic. This part embodies both "bad" parts. Nonetheless, I think I can fix this without spending big...

Re: Needed- Parking Brake Release Button

Elmers Glue. HAHAHAHAHAHAHahahahaha.

The bar part broke, so one of the solutions won't work. But I see another that might. Have drill. have nail. This might work...

Did someone *actually*...

Re: Just bought new headlights and need to know what size headlight bulb to get

Hi, from the land of Saturn S's. I see you bought new lamp assemblies to remedy the fogged over lenses. That alone will give you much, much better vision downrange. The alternative would have...

Re: Quad High Beam mod w/DRL & Fog Lights

I suppose I should ask what the objective is, because the headlamp optics may not cooperate. I get what you're trying to do, run both low beam and high beam together. But from my experience with my...

All things must pass. And so it has for the '95 Saturn SL2 at 332967 miles, in July of this year. Gear selector levers inside the transmission broke. Trying to climb with only 3rd gear finished off a...

Re: how many miles do you have on your saturn?

LOL, you asked...

The teal 95 SL2... crossed over the 300K barrier in August, and is at ~303K. About 250K on the rebuilt-by-the-dealer engine. I've carried it this far as much by necessity as any...

Re: Shifter bushing - which one?

Gee, I didn't know about the stainless steel one (didn't see this thread)...

How I got the 95 SL2 to 297K without sharing in this experience before now, I'll never know.

I purchased the Dorman...

Re: Why did GM give us such a pathetic fan?

Hi. Are we talking temperature or volume of air moved?

On the latter: Pull the blower assy and look for leaves, etc. in the cage fan. This is what happened with the 97 SL. We had noise,...

Re: what other makes & models have 4x100 rims

Worth noting... one of my neighbors is running SC2 alloy wheels on a 2004-or-so Honda Civic (not the current-gen Civic). Seems to fit in that direction. As others will tell you, bolt circle is only...

Re: Brighter Back-up Lights, anyone done it?

Something else- just like all the plastic headlights "fogging up" with age and exposure, your backup light lens may be made of a plastic that does that. If they are translucent rather than clear,...

Re: Brighter Back-up Lights, anyone done it?

The OE bulb is a #1156. A noticebly brighter bulb is #3497- krypton bulb normally found in Japanese cars (what I'm running on the 97 SL2). Listed in the specs at 43cp, compared to 32cp. Even...
