Well now a week with old EGR and original old metal gasket and no EGR codes. So I know it was EGR related but what I can surmise it most likely the paper type gasket failed causing invalid reading...

If you have a local junkyard that be the best location to find them otherwise eBay assuming the price isn't outrageous. That's where I find most of my Saturn L300 parts.

Update:
After 2 or 3 EGR replacement I got feed up and went to a JY and found two EGR with their gasket and replaced the EGR(new) with EGR(old) but before this cleared the codes and then replaced...

Great I now have 9005 installed and will have to give those a run to see how the hi-beams are and will later get some H11 LED and see how those work....

It's my 03 Saturn L300 with 254K. I have replaced 1-3-5 coil and plugs and may have to do 2-4-6 coil and plugs as well and Bank1Sensor1 O2. I had multiple EGR replaced and still the codes comes back....

I know I am trying to get it in but WI Cold doesn't help here. But I also not wonder if low Tranx fluid isn't causing it as well. But I have to get past this WI Cold to the shop so he can take a look.

I do know it hasn't happened and it does happen after doing 5K rpm passing the problem shows up but been driving regularly and it hasn't shown up.
