Re: Need help to install left side fender on 2000 LS

I'm glad that I could be of some help to you. FWIW, jupitersaturn, I did find two pictures posted to the website when I clicked onto your "jupitersaturn's Photos". The pictures were in that section....

Re: I purchased a clone Tech 2, ask me anything.

Would you please share a picture of the TECH II clone? Although there were no question raised by other members clearly people saw the posts and it was of some interest. In my case, I wouldn't know...

Re: Oil Filter Housing

That is something which cannot be overstated regarding automotive repair. You're "dead-on-target" with that observation, floridasl22002! Prior to purchasing the special socket to remove the oil...

kg6mvb and nickroa95, thank you both for correcting me regarding where the hazard and turn signal sounds come from on the Ion! :)

Re: 2003 Saturn ION turn signal does not make "clicking" sound when working...

Further checking makes it clear that the hazard warning switch does double as a flasher for the turn signals. If it's not making a clicking sound when activated then the unit is bad and needs...

Re: 2003 Saturn ION turn signal does not make "clicking" sound when working...

Welcome to SaturnFans!

Not being an Ion owner I can't speak with certainty, but it seems like your hazard switch also serves as a flasher for the turn signals as well. Question: do the signal...

Re: About those donuts in our trunks...

It's interesting to note that the L-Series wheel bolt pattern, a 110mm circle, remained the same for the Sky. Oh...and I like the pictures and humor, too! :D

Re: Exhaust Smoke

More questions arise:1) What exactly do you mean here?
a) Do you allow the car to warm up for a few minutes before taking it out to drive, or
b) is the warmed up for a shorter time, taken out to...

Re: 2003 Saturn ion pcv

Your assumption regarding the PCV valve on your car's engine is incorrect. All gasoline engines have had them since since the early to mid-1960's. It's there - you just have to know where to look.

Re: Exhaust Smoke

The outcome of the inspection is that there are bad (valve stem) seals and then the leap is made to replacing the engine. I don't quite understand that. Replacing those leaking seals isn't an...

Re: L200 Radiator Fan Not Turning On

Welcome to SaturnFans, smccain953! You are correct that there is only one coolant temperature sensor for the L-Series car, whether four cylinder or V6. If memory serves correctly, there are some...

Re: Autotrans won't shift out of first sometimes

After checking this member's posting history it appears likely to be regarding an SL1. However, the OP will still have to confirm this. (IMO, he posted to the wrong forum area.)

Re: Flywheel Inspection Plate ? 2.2 non-Eco Tech.

In general, I see your point - but really......very common? The operative word in the quote above is the qualifier, "if." Out of every 10,000 cars produced by any given manufacturer, how many are...

Re: thinking of selling /trading my 3 Dr Xr Astra

If I were in your position that would probably be my reaction as well regarding my LS1. Why would this be?

1) I've had this car longer than my previous ones;
2) it's been highly reliable with no...
