Precat showed up first in some areas of CA in 96, apparently, then in other emissions-restrictive states (NJ, MA) in 98 or 99, but were otherwise generally unusual until '99 when they were common...

Either I didn't get the RTV I was entitled to, or I threw it away with the box :D

Done 3 cam cover gaskets now (all in the last ~ 10 years), never had an RTV packet in any of the preformed gasket...
