Re: Lost running lights after install of led headlights

Welcome!
No running lights, do you mean no front parking lights?
Those LEDs should be just plug in and play.
Did you remove the parking light bulbs whenever you did the headlights?
Have you...

Re: Upper engine mount adapter kit - I need community help with development!

^^^ I would vote for the Audi/VW mount you posted the link to, appears to be closest to what we use already...but as you say, may need an adapter plate to fit the S series.

Re: 02 SL2 5speed crazy whine

So, does the NV in your handle indicate you are in Nevada?
If so, there is a 2001 SL2, runs great - $800 in Syracuse, Utah.
High miles, no AC, 5-speed.

Or if you really want to splurge, up in...

Re: One Year Ago Today...

I don't recall the accident details (if you told us at the time), but it looks like the protective roofline/cage kept the driver (you?) from being crushed flat.

Sorry for your loss, happy for your...

Re: 2001 SL1 slammed door car fights back with AIRBAG!

Keblar, the OP was mistaken about a GM TSB/recall. All the info applied to the L series, not our S series.

Re: Is it time to move on?

^^ Especially if you had a ton of miles on it already.

Re: The 16 1/2 year S Series battery!

A guy that we used to share alfalfa crops with had about that same length battery life, however; his incredible small battery was on a small riding mower, not a vehicle.
Some great stories to be...

Re: 01 Auto Tranny Leaking LOTS of fluid

So, it's pouring out at the engine/tranny, but not the drivers side axle seal, correct?

Re: Questions Regarding Wolfman's Reverse Slam Procedure + Interior Questions

Should/Could I use something as cheap as Walmart Supertech Dexron 3?
Yes, of course.
In fact that is the only stuff I have ever used for my regular Saturn tranny oil changes. It is perfect stuff...

Re: Rust prevention

Looks like that Corrosion Free product hails from where my inlaws moved from many years ago. Hamiliton, Ontario to Chicago in the 40's.

Most likely the air passages...

Re: radiator stop leak stuff

Never drained and changed, never needs more coolant (leak free and still orange).
Mileage on these 3? 126K, 170K & 172K....
