Thank you all for showing and making it a memorable day! The weather was great, the cars were great, and the people were even greater. I would have never imagined way back when that nine cars would...

Re: Extinct Car Day at Larz Anderson Museum 2019

Re: Stainless Steel muffler, or maybe not....

Most likely a 409 sst. So technically it is a sst. Magnetic. 409 is a ferritic sst with approx. 10.7 to 11.5 % chrome. An austenitic 304 sst exhaust like the Thermal has approx. 17.5 to 19.5...

Re: Thermal Exhaust

I could not get the short video to upload. My computer skills are lacking in that regard. Two words to describe, "low tones". I have a 92 factory header and downpipe. Sounds like the...

Re: New SC2 Saturn

I bet the underside looks just a clean. And the front sub frame must look like it just left the factory. I looked up your average of 12.5 inches of rain per year. I should have taken a vacation...

Re: Thermal Exhaust

Considering that I have gone thru the original, plus 4 steel aftermarket pipes and mufflers, I hope this will be the last one I buy. The steel ones lasted me about 2-3 years with all the winter...

Re: Extinct Car Day at Larz Anderson Museum 2019

If someone is in need of a Walker exhaust pipe, Walker Sound FX muffler, and strap, I can bring it and let it go for a very reasonable price. All new and never installed. I bought it while waiting...

One month away to the day. Oct. 19th. Incentive to get a few more smaller things done. Lots of major items done this year, like engine and both rocker sills, floor repair, etc. I have a few...

Re: Rustproofing

If you want to spend money and not get dirty, in New England, look up New Hampshire Oil Undercoating. (NHOU) I had them do my old Mazda B3000 last year. Seemed to have worked well on a...

Re: The Best Perk of Living in the Southwest...

Zeebins looks like it time for some paint on that gas tank lead pipe, and fliud film the rest of the undercarriage. Otherwise, it will end up like mine. :)
Rust never sleeps up here.

Re: On the road again

I bought the last Conti kit that Rock Auto had last night. Will keep it on standby when it shows up for now. Got my fingers crossed on the mix of parts that I have currently installed. I did...

Re: On the road again

My question is what kit to buy? I have used Conti belts in other cars, with good success. Or does it matter, as long as I buy a "kit"? My car has a/c, and that would need a recharge. That...
