Re: Air filters S Series

Agreed. The car is no power house and you could run NO air filter and it's not going to change that, and it already reliably gets 30mpg with a stock paper filter, so what more could you possibly be...

Re: 2000 saturn sw2 cooling fan issues

My 98 SL2 has the same issue. Car will overheat if left sitting and idling, unless the AC is on which engages the fan, then all is well.

Only discovered the issue after changing the radiator and...

Re: Looking for a central console armrest

I think the lower part of the dash where it merges into the console is different though, no?

I had the same thought before and if I recall they looked way different there.

But maybe it doesn't...

Re: WiFi OBD software

Torque Pro is what I've been using for years now, and it's worked out great for me. I use it for code reading and for live data every once in a while.

I plan on picking up a different OBD dongle...

I know that this thread is over 4 years old, but let's all just skip over the fact that this guy built a Saturn drag car...

Re: Looking for a central console armrest

I ended up with a black one thanks to another member here on the forum and I 3D printed a latch for it with 100% infill black ABS. Came out pretty good even though my printer was way out of tune...

Re: SL1 revving way too high at idle and while driving

I have yet to dive into mine, but I have in intermittent similar problem with my 98 DOHC. Every once in a while, when I put it in neutral or park, it'll idle up to about 1500-2000 RPMs. Sometimes...

Re: Affordable LED fog lights with 3D printed brackets

They're not amazing, they are cheap lights after all, but WORLDS better than the original halogens for sure. I could hardly tell when the original halogens were on the light output was so pitiful....

Re: Affordable LED fog lights with 3D printed brackets

I went ahead and uploaded it. Feel free to play with the design.

And if anyone makes and installs some, I'd love to see the result!

Re: Affordable LED fog lights with 3D printed brackets

The only reason I haven't uploaded to Thingiverse just yet is because I don't feel like it's quite a finished product (not that that's any different from a lot of other things on Thingiverse...). The...

Re: What did you do to your S-Series today...

HAHA, I moved my 98 today so I could hook up to the trailer our 6x6 was on and get it in front of the garage to try and figure out why it kept dying after running for about 5 minutes. Turns out the...

The 98 got some love today.

Installed my new center console arm rest lid thanks to Kaervak, with the latch that I 3D printed for it installed on it.

Installed my new perforated steering wheel,...

Custom Saturn Decals

Was curious if there's any interest in some custom made Saturn orientated decals.

Can customize them any way you want as far as lettering goes and some basic images, up to 12" x 24", and at the...

Re: Walmart oil

Good deal!

I'm all about cheap oil lol. I run the Walmart house brand stuff in all 3 of our cars. Never had issues, shouldn't ever, so long as it's routinely changed :) The 220k mile 2004 Blazer...

Re: has anybody..

Hell, I've got a 500hp LS3 and a built trans just sitting in the garage right now for that reason. The S10 Blazer it's destined to go in still runs good after 220k miles, so I just haven't put it...

Re: will these rims work with default tires?

If you have 15" original alloy wheels on it now, then yes they will work just fine with your existing tires. I think they original steels are 14", so you might want to double check if you have steel...
