Re: Original Year SL2 Value

Well, I'm looking at the BoS and it's for a new 1991 SL2 and the date is May 16, 1992.

I don't know how to tell from the VIN whether it's an early '91 or a late one, but trust me, it was a new '91...

Original Year SL2 Value

I love my '91 SL2, but I seldom drive her and I think it's time to let her go.
I bought her brand new in May of '92 and she has been a great old girl. I don't know the mileage, as the instrument...

Re: Saturn was about the great employees

I totally agree. My wife asked about Kias; I just don't know about that. Maybe look at VW - anything but GM. *******s. :hothead:

Sad Re: A eulogy...

So I was just asking my wife the other day if she wanted to sell our '91 SL2. I was wondering if it would have much value since it was a first year offering.
I guess it doesn't matter now.

It's...

Re: Is My SL2 Worth Keeping?

Many thanks for the replies!

I appreciate the candor of your posts, and you pretty much seconded my assumptions.

She's in really good shape, so I guess I'll keep her. The only current problem...

Is My SL2 Worth Keeping?

I bought my first Saturn SL2 just as I got out of the AF in spring of 1991, when Saturn was a brand new concept and was still getting started. I was a bit unsure of buying a new brand, but was won...

Re: '98 SW1 Front License Plate

Thanks, Mike

I'll phone the dealer and see how much they are. I would assume they're easy enough to get from a junkyard if the dealer is too high.

Hey, it wasn't my idea to buy this one! :dizzy:

My wife's car is possessed. The door locks are continuously cycling on and off - even when the ignition is off. I removed one of the fuses and it...

Tune-up after 44k miles

I just bought a used '04 6cyl FWD Vue with about 44,000 miles on it. I had the oil changed this weekend and my boy said that it was idling a little rough and it wouldn't hurt to change the plugs. I...
