Replacing the batteries in the keyless remote did not work. I also noted at this time that the inside door lock...

Since my last post the issue of random crank but no start has happened twice. Each time Ive taken the key out of the ignition and waited a bit and it would somehow start again, and the car runs fine....

Just ordered the crank position sensor from Rockauto. Since I have never replaced that, I am not opposed to changing it at least to rule it out. I will also put my new fuel filter on, and we will see...

A couple other points...

Went outside about 10 minutes after posting this, unlocked the doors with the remote, and it started right up.

About 30 minutes later, checked again, it started right...

check the tire sizes. Some numbskull highly trained expert at Wally world probably put one size too small on one of the wheels.

Last time I went in there to change out the shoes, I found a rusty/leaky wheel cylinder. Replaced them on both sides, as well as new spring kits, and shoes. Fairly cheap, but good to have done.
