06-07 rear differential, is it the same 4cyl and 6cyl?

looking at buying a parts vue to fix the wreck damage and rear end issue with my vue.

the parts car is a 4cyl AWD 06 model, will it have the same rear differential as my 06 model v6 AWD?

wow, 3900 for one with 209k miles, i realize this post is pretty old, but i would think thats atleast $1000 more than it was worth unless it was in extremely good shape.

I buy alot of cars from insurance auctions and I have yet to see one of these show up local for me, My wife has always wanted an Ion redline, she just loves the suicide doors.

some of the best ratings I've seen for tires and they are really good if you drive spiritedly, but dont expect them to last 55k miles.

wrench and oil light on for about 20 seconds everytime i start the vehicle

every time i start it the light is on for about 20 seconds, usually make it down the road 100 yards or so and it goes out. Any idea's? No check engine light or codes stored in the computer.

I will also point out that with the vehicle on the lift and in gear it doesnt make the noise, it has a very slight noise but nothing anywhere near the noise it makes on the ground, its only when...

Carrier bearing looks great, no play in the driveshaft anywhere, however i can grab either axle in the rear and shake it up and down quite a bit at the rear differential, more play there than any...

the vehicle is nice and quiet during normal driving, When the AWD is kicked in it sounds as if the rear wheels are dragging the rear bumper or a fender liner, the AWD is working, maybe slipping...
