Monitor your engine Oil level Very Closely..... Maintain at the Upper Fill line on dipstick. Use "Full Synthetic" oil only.

If your has auto trans, shift/drive carefully, renew...

Just blew engine and abandoned car at 229kMi -- bearings were still fine!

Recently read some advice by a bearing mfgr:

not good -- they tended to develop cracks in the head.

OldNuc has researched & discovered that the problem was not...

A common leak location in 'seasoned' vehicles (where the MasterCylinder has Not been renewed) , is the Seal on the rear end of the MC.

Often the seal leaks, fluid creeps aft along the MC's...

It is now known that the Head Torque Sequence was updated(1999TSB); it is critical to use the new/updated torque sequence.

Note that the fusible link wire:

(1) connects battery to alternator, for field/feed and charge/output

(2) can 'fail', ie, the fusible link can fail, disabling the alternator, until the fusible...
