Re: How often do you clean your throttle body?

With my SW2, I only had to clean it once in 100K.

Never have had to clean any throttle body on any other car or truck I have owned in 50 years of driving.
Only my Saturns have ever needed...

Re: 2000 saturn sw2 cooling fan issues

tJ3ss1987, when you replaced the ECTS connector, how did you attach the wires? The only approved way is to solder and cover with shrink wrap. Never wire nuts, never crimp connectors and these 2...

Re: My experience with a R12A recharge kit.....

And to top it off, the R12 ports are threaded, whereas the R134a are like air compressor fittings, not compatible.....something in the story does not match up.

Re: roof panel question

The only stock I own is a herd of registered Toggenburg diary goats.
A best investment because they are tangible, and reproduce-able.

Re: dead cigarette lighter socket

Well, you may have fried the F5 pin.
It is famous for failing after plugging in other loads other than used as a cigarette lighter.
The F5 is located behind that kick panel located to the right of...

This is the 3rd recent posting about oil pans, and all 3 are OLD threads.

Re: 2001 SC2 Tail light wire harness

RockAuto has the connector for $10.90. It should have the pigtail already.

Edit: RA calls it the tail lamp connector (calling it part # 12112339), but the picture of it does not look at all like a...

These IAC valves are plungers that extend and retract in their length.
Your old one is most likely either failed in the extended position, or gummed up in...

I have never seen a saturn with foam atop the radiator.
If it were a factory thing, then all the satty's must have had a replacement radiator before I obtained them. And come to think of it, I have...

Re: Something I rarely do - SELL a SC2

Nope, a registered Toggenburg dairy goat, with wattles.
We've raised and sold this breed for 26 years, and this one in the photo had the best character/demeanor of all.

Guess her name contest.

Re: Something I rarely do - SELL a SC2

The Apocalypse, will be at least 1,007 years away from today.
2 x 3-1/2 years, plus 1000, from whenever year 1 of the "7" begins.
