thanks guys for all the help. One more question, since the sway bar bushing is literally non existant in my car, and since that one bushing has had to take all the pressure from the wheel moving...

well according to the swap guide the 97 intake manifold doesnt bolt to the 94 block. But "fetchitfido" says he put a 97 manifold on a 93 cylinder head and block, and i believe its the same as my 94...

So i need to get the bolts really tight? what are the torque specs? Why would i need an alignment after this? Im not actualyl disconnecting the shock assembly or anything.

My car was built in cali, and does have the electric EGR. What do you mean drill an extra hole for the temp sender? Where does this hole need to be drilled?

I can get a freshly rebuilt 1997 DOHC motor. But can i put it in my 1994 SL2? My cars motor has 195k miles on it. I dont have the ECU/PCM from the 1997. I know the 1997 still has the return fuel...

and just for the records, the turbine speed sensor problem was all because the previous owner replaced the transmission filter, and apparently disconnected this sensor and put the connector on...
