But since getting my 97 SL2 back on the road, I've noticed a transmission fluid leak...
It's not a GUSHER, but it's definitely a drip.
I'm thinking it's either...

97 SL2: Coolant Temp Guage a LITTLE too high?

On my other SL2's (both 98's) the coolant temp guage was DEAD NUTS on 3/8...However, on my 97 SL2 it's probably at 3.75/8 (just a tick under the halfway mark)
This is the way it's always been since...

Re: Resonator and Muffler Replacement...Advise please

Re: Engine Removal/Swap Questions

I COULD do that...but that'd be a lot more work, right? (Cutting firewall, etc)
On the fuel system, I'll just swap the rail, seems like if the injectors are the same, then voila.
Also, maybe I'll...

Re: Engine Removal/Swap Questions

How do you mean? The fuel rail isn't the same?
The 98 has a Manual and the 97 has an automatic.
When I get both engine/trans out I'm going to do the necessary swapping (put the flexplate onto the...

Engine Removal/Swap Questions

So I'm going to be doing my second Saturn engine swap.
The plan is to swap the LL0 out from my 98 SL2 to my 97 SL2

Re: 1997 SW2 wagon - Coolant lights flashing :(

I'm cheap and stupid...I've been driving my SW2 for 3 years with the light flashing...as long as it doesn't actually OVERHEAT, I don't care.

Re: Injector Internal Short only when hot?

They're broken off INSIDE, as in no way near flush.
I was debating taking it to a machine shop to see if they could get it out, but I think they'd just make a mess of it.

Re: Injector Internal Short only when hot?

Well, with the new rail/injectors, it did the same thing today.
So I'm going to have to look around and see if I can't find bare wires...or else just black tape them all.
But I'm with OldNuc, how...

Re: Better for Snow: SL2 with Cords or 4wd?
