Re: What wrench to use for C-Arm castle nut ?

Great

Thanks for the reply. I'd be afraid to use an open end wrench on a 15 year old nut. I'll let plenty of PB soak in and use a closed end 6-sided wrench then.

I want to make sure I also have...

Re: 60k Service Recommendations

60K ?

Get a service manual for it they are on ebay and go into service mileage recommendations.

I can think of:

Clean throttle body
change tranny fluid
serpentine belt.
lube some hinges

Re: Haynes Repair Manual

The Chiltons seemed much better back in the mid 70's. I used it like a Bible for the car. Today, they seem so watered down.

Re: Steering binding/clicking. Help!

I going to guess a CV-Joint ???

That was a similar sounding problem on an old car of mine that I eventually junked. But the steering rack you replaced I assume contains the CV-joint.

Raising the engine a bit puts the tensioner bolts at a better angle so you can get to them much much much easier. It also increases the clearance of the bolts to the frame.Believe me, after doing 3...
